Aims of this PPCC Inc. Member Organization

• Protection of the unique flora and fauna of the McCrae foreshore within Zone 6 of the Rosebud Foreshore Reserve Landscape Master Plan prepared by Parks Victoria in 2000
  
  
• Preservation of the heritage features of the landscape and preservation of an historical link with the McCrae family through the McCrae Homestead in Beverley Rd, McCrae, managed by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria)
  
  
• Increased public awareness of the fragility of this narrow section of foreshore and encouragement of community participation in its protection
  
  
• Maintenance of lines of communication with other like-minded groups
  
  
• Long term viability of the group
